Here are a collection of Biblical quotes that could be interpreted to have meaning to individuals involved in a BDSM relationship. I'm sure that Serafina will have some more thoughts to add on this topic, as she is by far the more advanced student here in terms of Biblical scholarship.
It certainly could be said that these particular quotations are quite sexist, and I wouldn't even attempt to defend them on those grounds. Certainly, as Serafina has pointed out, there are a good number of Biblical quotes that have been used as justification for the subjugation of women.
However, since documents like the Bible are studied for meanings on a variety of levels, it's simple for me to view these quotes from the context that "wife" isn't a gender specific term. Instead I simply interpret it to indicate the more submissive, or passive, individual in a marriage. By the same measure, "husband" can also simply be interpreted to indicate the dominant partner in a BDSM styled relationship.
I've also gone out of my way to include quotes (primarily from Proverbs) that include mention of discipline for boys as well, doing my best to follow the ancient goose / gander imperative.
"When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment." -- Exodus 21:7-11
"However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance." -- Leviticus 25:44-46“Wives, submit yourself unto your own husbands, as is fit in the Lord.” -- Colossians 3:18
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” -- Genesis 2:24“Thy desire shall be for thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” -- Genesis 3:16
"Fools despise wisdom and discipline." -- Proverbs 1:7“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.” -- Ephesians 5:22-25
“Let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” -- Ephesians 5:33“Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.” -- 1 Peter 3:1-2
“For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.” -- 1 Peter 3:5-6“Husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” -- 1 Peter 3:7
“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” -- 1 Timothy: 2:11-12“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” -- 1 Corinthians 14:34
"For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it." -- Matthew 19:12"Blessings are for the head of the just, but a rod for the back of the fool." -- Proverbs 10:6
"Folly is close to the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him." -- Proverbs 22:15"Withhold not chastisement from a boy; if you beat him with a rod he will not die. Beat him with the rod, and you will save him from the nether world." -- Proverbs 23:13-14
"If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for only six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom. If he was single when he became your slave and then married afterward, only he will go free in the seventh year. But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife will be freed with him. If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave, and they had sons or daughters, then the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master. But the slave may plainly declare, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children. I would rather not go free.' If he does this, his master must present him before God. Then his master must take him to the door and publicly pierce his ear with an awl. After that, the slave will belong to his master forever." -- Exodus 21:2-6
